• 1998 Foundation of the company
• 2014 Relocation to the new administration building with storage area in the GVZ Kassel.
• 2015 Start-up of in-house production at the VW plant in Wolfsburg
• 2016 Bundling of production at the Kassel site (focus on non-foam).
• 2017 Foundation of the subsidiary General-Industries Polymere GmbH (focus on plastics trading)
• 2018 Expansion to include the Eschwege production site (focus on Foam) 
• 2019 Commissioning of a high-performance extruder with melt filtration & innovative separation technology
• 2021 Relocation to a new administration building with connected logistics warehouse in Kassel
• 2022 Co-founding of start-up company rezzeat GmbH - reusable pool system for food products
• 2023 Expansion of the Eschwege site by a further extruder line
• 2023 General-Industries Polymere GmbH becomes an independent company with a focus on NON-Foam recycling located in Kassel
• 2024 JSP International GmbH & Co KG (Düsseldorf, Germany), a subsidiary of JSP Corporation (Tokyo, Japan) and General-Industries Deutschland strengthen their recycling partnership
